I received two of the gruyere and prosciutto egg bites in one of the boxed meal delivery services along with a box of excellent blueberries. I served the blueberries as a very thick topping on a small bowl of Greek yogurt. I fried mine as indicated on the package. They were absolutely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed them as a light supper, although they were so rich I think I could have made do with one!
Recently ordered several flavors of sous vide egg bites. Have to say: I am a fan! I have only tried two flavors, (of which I bought six bites per flavor) but if the remaining flavors are as tasty as the first two, my power bar for breakfast habit has been replaced! I love how in one minute I can have a delicious perfect portion of eggs to enjoy piled into a tortilla for a breakfast taco or enjoyed as cooked with a serving of fresh strawberries and toast. These little bites as SO tasty, easy and satisfying. Definitely worth trying!
I've loved the Three Little Pigs dinners: coconut curry chicken especially. So I decided to try the egg bites--and there were so many choices, I bought 4 of each flavor. So far, I've tried three different flavors and love them all! So easy and amazingly filling. Although my children are grown, I can certainly imagine preparing one of the egg bites for the kids before school or for an after school snack. For me now, these make a delicious and FAST meal with a piece of whole grain toast and a little fruit. I've even shared with a friend who is recovering from significant surgery and needs nutritious, easy meals/snacks. I am a FAN!
